Let's stretch

I hope you are able to take a few minutes for yourself after the busy holiday season. Perhaps stretching could be part of your self care. This stretch only takes a few minutes and is nearly a full body stretch.

What you need: Just yourself!

How to stretch: Lay on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Thread your right foot through the opening created by your left leg. Your right knee will be on the floor. Reach your left hand, palm facing up, to grab under your right foot. If you do not feel a stretch in your thigh, adjust your knee so that it points the same direction that your left toes are pointing. Stay here or add the side body stretch by bringing your right arm over your head, then reaching to the left. This opens the right side body, so your body will now be in a gentle C shape. Now, completely relax all your muscle and stay in the stretch for 2-4 minutes. Repeat on the opposite side.
